Jamila Rizvi injects her own special brand of humour, irreverence and authenticity into public debate.


Jamila is author of the best-selling Not Just Lucky, a career manifesto for millennial women. Her second book, The Motherhood will be released in 2018. 

She writes a twice weekly column for News Limited and is a regular commentator on The Project, Today, The Drum and Q and A. Previously she was Editor in Chief of the Mamamia Women's Network and an advisor to the Rudd and Gillard Governments.

Jamila is an Ambassador for CARE Australia, and a board member of the Melbourne Writers' Festival and the McKell Institute Victoria. Jamila lives in Melbourne and is represented by Profile Talent Management.
